Ms. Rivera has litigated cases in both State and Federal Court on a variety of matters ranging from employment discrimination to premises liability. Ms. Rivera’s practice mostly focuses on the defense of various school districts and municipal entities in civil litigation involving claims made under Title VII, Section 1983, Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (“IDEA”) and Real Property Tax Law. Ms. Rivera is also experienced in handling matters before the New York State Division of Human Rights Commission.
